This Privacy Policy explains how EDUCATION CONFERENCES UK LTD(“we”, “us”), operating the Studiora service at educonuk.shop, collects and uses personal data. It applies to visitors, account holders and subscribers. Studiora is an online-only digital learning subscription.

1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect

• Account data: name, email address and authentication identifiers.
• Subscription and billing data: plan, billing status and processor references. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.
• Study inputs: topics, questions and any material you paste or upload for explanation.
• Generated results: explanations, concept visuals and clips produced for you.
• Support data: messages you send us and their metadata.
• Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and feature usage, collected via cookies and similar technologies.

3. Where we collect it from

Directly from you (when you register, subscribe, use the Studio or contact us), automatically from your device as you use the service, and from our processors (for example, subscription status from Stripe).

4. Why we use it and our legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)

• To provide the service — generate explanations, visuals and clips (performance of a contract).
• To take payment and manage subscriptions (performance of a contract; legal obligation for tax records).
• To provide support and respond to you (legitimate interests; contract).
• To secure, maintain and improve the service (legitimate interests).
• Analytics and non-essential cookies (consent, where required).
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations (legal obligation).

5. Payment provider boundary

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your card details directly under its own terms and privacy policy. Studiora does not receive, transmit or store full card numbers, CVC codes or complete card data. We receive only limited references needed to manage your subscription.

6. Your study inputs and generated results

You keep ownership of anything you paste or upload. We process it only to generate your results. Inputs and generated outputs are cached for up to 30 days to run and support the service, then cleared, unless you have deleted them sooner or we must keep records to meet a legal obligation. We do not use your inputs or results to train AI models. Do not upload material you have no right to use, or confidential or special-category personal data you do not need us to process.

7. Who we share it with

We share data only with processors acting on our instructions:

• Hosting & delivery: our cloud hosting and content-delivery provider.
• Payments: Stripe, for checkout, subscriptions and billing.
• AI generation: the AI model provider(s) that produce explanations, visuals and clips from your inputs.
• Email & support tooling used to reply to you.
• Database & storage used to run accounts and store enquiries.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law.

8. International transfers

Some processors may be located outside the UK or EEA. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.

9. How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Study inputs and generated results are cached for up to 30 days. Billing and tax records are kept for the period required by law. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to help you and keep a service record.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers. No online service is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

11. Your rights

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email support@educonuk.shop. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) or your local EU supervisory authority.

Under the CCPA/CPRA (California residents) you have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. See “Do Not Sell or Share” below.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and provide a clear opt-out mechanism first.

14. Automated decisions and children

AI generation assists your learning; it does not make legal or similarly significant automated decisions about you. Studiora is not for children under 13, and users aged 13–17 must have parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
